What You Can Do


  • Become a volunteer and help stop the power plant and high pressure gas line. We need people to distribute flyers. We need people to talk to their neighbours. Let us know how you can help at (name, address, number (home and cell), email address).

  • Make a donation to Concerned Citizens of King Township. Please indicate that your cheque is for "Stop Generator". Make your cheque payable to "Concerned Citizens of king Township"; do not use a short form for the group' name. We will send you a receipt.

  • Contact Premier McGuinty and ask him to respect his own legislation to protect the Greenbelt for future generations and agriculture. Ask for the same consideration gas given to Oakville; specifically, he cancelled a generator in Oakville because there was not a need. Ask him to cancel the proposed generator in King Township and in the Holland Marsh.
