Oak Ridges Morraine Foundation Needs Funding:

Call or write M.P.P. Dr. Helena Jaczek:  905-294-4931

The upcoming Provincial budget needs to ensure refunding of the Oak Ridges Morraine Foundation.   Please show your support for refunding by asking Dr. Jaczek what she's doing to ensure this.  Monitoring activities need to continue to ensure the health of our acquifiers.  Previous Provincial funding has been leveraged by collaborating with other concerned groups. This work must continue but is under threat of cuts as the Province looks to trim its budget.

Ombudsman not to proceed with formal investigation

CCKT received a letter July 15, 2011 confirming, with stated reasons, why the Ombudsman's Office came to this decision.
